Our projects

Practical work, held with care.

Each project below is a real, ongoing answer to a real human moment. Some are active today; others are being built so we can be there when families need us most.

Two principles run through all of them: change the language - so the moment a family changes shape can be described with care, not violence - and lower the barrier, so that mediation is never a privilege of the few.

Emergency Video Mediation Hotline01
PENDINGProject 01

Emergency Video Mediation Hotline

An immediate, human voice in the middle of the storm.

We aim to establish a dedicated, available, and accessible line that provides immediate support to couples, parents, and families in the midst of conflict.

Through video calls with professional mediators, escalation can be paused, a safe dialogue created, and initial solutions found in real time, before crisis hardens into damage.

Subsidized Mediation & Consultation02
ACTIVEProject 02

Subsidized Mediation & Consultation

Dialogue made affordable, so families don’t have to choose between peace and cost.

AHAVA works to make mediation processes accessible to families in widely different situations.

In 2020, during COVID and the lockdowns, the foundation contributed 400 hours of mediation to families according to defined criteria, published in a public notice in Yedioth Ahronoth. Following that, several processes were subsidized at 80% of their cost.

Today the foundation continues to offer parents introductory sessions at no cost, making it possible to resolve conflict by peaceful means, instead of long, expensive, and harmful legal proceedings.

Hosting Soldiers, Wounded & Trauma Survivors03
ACTIVEProject 03

Hosting Soldiers, Wounded & Trauma Survivors

A safe house for those who carry October 7th, and the partners who carry them.

We continue to hold unique gatherings at AHAVA House for soldiers, wounded individuals, trauma survivors, and survivors of October 7th, together with their partners.

We organize retreats, as we have done with the Nova survivors group in Caesarea, and during a bonding experiential week in Switzerland.

Each hosting combines a safe space, shared singing circles, deep listening, and the transfer of mediation tools, to improve communication and strengthen both couple and family systems.

A New Public Discourse of Mediation04
ACTIVEProject 04

A New Public Discourse of Mediation

Lectures, gatherings, and a daily podcast quietly shifting the conversation.

The foundation works to introduce a new discourse of mediation, listening, and parental responsibility through lectures, events, gatherings, and seminars.

Our goal is to influence the public conversation in the family sphere, reducing conflict and increasing awareness of mediation-based approaches. This includes prevention, before crises emerge, in matters of the wellbeing of children and parents.

A podcast titled “Shalom Bayit” is expected to launch soon, with daily live broadcasts, with the ambition of becoming a dedicated 24/7 channel devoted exclusively to family, relationships, and children.

AHAVA House for Families, A Community Center05
ACTIVEProject 05

AHAVA House for Families, A Community Center

A living, connecting, supporting room, open to the community in Pardes Hanna.

A unique center established in Pardes Hanna in 2025, providing consultation hours, guidance, and mediation processes to the general public.

The house operates as a living, connecting, and supportive community space, offering accessible and professional support to families, couples, and parents.

We are working to expand activity by opening weekly free consultation hours for the community, as part of an open-house framework in cooperation with the local council.
