About AHAVA

A foundation built on listening.

AHAVA Foundation (a public benefit company) operates from a deep belief that words can heal, connect, and save relationships - and above all, safeguard the wellbeing of children and families.

The flag

A symbol of love, unity, and creation.

The AHAVA flag carries a layered symbolism that weaves together love, unity, and spirituality - honouring the bond between body, mind, and soul.

Two interlocking hearts

The blue hearts speak of connection and union between two people, or two forces. They stand for mutual love, harmony, and shared creation - a quiet reminder that love and relationship are the ground from which new, shared life grows, including the children born of that union.

A three-dimensional Merkavah at the centre

At the heart of the hearts sits a Merkavah - a three-dimensional Star of David that brings together spirit, body, and soul. Drawing on imagery echoed in Indian tradition, it reflects the wholeness and unity of every dimension of human existence, and represents the shared creation - the children - that emerges from the meeting of two hearts. Placed at the centre, the Star of David anchors the symbol in the depth of Jewish tradition while opening it to universal values of love and creation.

Blue stripes, top and bottom

The blue stripes echo the Israeli national flag, tying the flag's spiritual symbolism to a sense of identity, belonging, and continuity.

“AHAVA” beneath the emblem

The word AHAVA - love - sits below the symbol and names the approach behind it: AHAVA mediation, a way of working that weaves together love, faith, and mediation to build genuine connection and harmony between people, and inside families.

Taken as a whole, the flag stands for spiritual and physical unity - the meeting of love and faith, and the quiet power that lives in shared creation, inner peace, and family.

Our work

What we do, and why.

We initiate and operate social projects that make family mediation, constructive communication, and emotional tools accessible to the general public - with a particular focus on families in moments of crisis.

Our work spans private mediation, retreats for soldiers and trauma survivors (including survivors of October 7th), public discourse, and a community house in Pardes Hanna where families can simply walk in and be received.

Wherever possible, we lower the barrier to entry - through subsidies, free introductory sessions, and an open-house framework with the local council.

Our values

Four quiet commitments.

01

Dialogue before damage

We believe most family crises can be paused, listened to, and re-opened - when the right words are offered at the right time.

02

Children first

Every initiative we undertake is measured against one question: does this protect the wellbeing of the children involved?

03

Accessible by design

Mediation cannot be a privilege of the few. We subsidize, we open doors, and we offer first sessions with no cost attached.

04

Quiet professionalism

Our work is held by experienced mediators and facilitators - without urgency, without theatre, without rushing the people in front of us.
